SUMMARY:Hike Center Pond Preserve in Phippsburg
DESCRIPTION:Oct. 28 — 9:30 AM  to 12:30 PM \nMeet at 9:30 AM at the parking lot and trailhead \nCenter Pond Perimeter Loop is 4.9 Miles\, elevation 403 ft.  Alltrails claims it takes about two hours to hike\, but we will likely take longer\, stopping to enjoy the scenery and for some breaks for snacks and/or lunch. \nNote: I have not done this trail but was happy to read about it in one of Carey Kish’s books. \nThis trip is weather dependent. \nThere are about 6 – 8 parking spots. DESCRIPTION:HAPPY HOUR this Friday will be at THREE DOLLAR DEWEY’S on Commercial Street in the Old Port. Full bar\, good food\, free popcorn\, and communal seating. On-street parking will be easier to come by now that the tourist season is offer… and it’s free at the meters after 6PM. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWith the advent of cooler weather\, MOAC Happy Hours may now be located at establishments offering limited or no options for outdoor seating.  For each Happy Hour venue\, we will try to give as much information as practical about available seating options.\n\nParticipation in Happy Hour events\, regardless of seating options\, is a personal decision and MOAC assumes no liability for potential health risks associated with attending these activities.\n\nVaccination against COVID-19 (including approved booster shots) is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED\, but not required for participation in Happy Hour events.   Participants are expected to practice safe behaviors including social distancing\, hand washing and wearing a mask when not eating/drinking or when not seated.   Please be respectful of other people’s choices and comfort level.  Do not participate if you are not feeling well\, exhibiting COVID symptoms\, have recently tested positive for COVID or have come into close contact with someone who may be COVID positive.
