DESCRIPTION:~Activities~\nIn addition to the perimeter trail at Orchard Ridge Farm\, nearby trails include\, ITS 89 and the Mountain Division Trail (MDT) for your walking\, fat/mountain biking\, snowshoeing\, or cross country skiing adventures! The historic Gambo Dam\, the horse-drawn Tow Path and the Gunpowder Mill trails are accessed by the MDT from the Farm! \nThere is a sledding hill at the Farm for the kid in all of us! Bring your sled! \n\nThe Greenhouse has picnic tables for ventilated seating protected from the wind. Musical instruments welcome! Bring a camp chair for outdoor seating by the fire. Some seating available. \n\n\nPLEASE wear a mask in the Farm Market and in the bathrooms. There will be no pot-luck. \n\n~Eats~\nBYO Lunch or Buy Delicious BBQ from Smokey & Brines or the fresh hot and cold menu at the Farm’s Market. Gluten-Free & Vegetarian options. MOAC’s Soup or Chili Crockpot Challenge will be available for sampling and voting in the barn. Beer and wine for purchase on site. MOAC will supply hot beverages. Fire pit and wood supplied. S’mores here we come! \n~Soup or Chili Challenge~\nSix Volunteers who make a crock pot for the Soup or Chili Challenge and staff the table will receive a $15 gift certificate to the Farm Store to offset food costs. SUMMARY:Classic or Skate Ski WinterFest
DESCRIPTION:There is snow on the MDT\, so it is safe to  assume all the trails from WinterFest will have soft snow and no ice.  If wanted\, we could ride a few miles to the Portland Water District Trails in Sebago\, which has less walkers and more skiers!  Meet in front of the Barn\, where the Chili & Soup Challenge will take place.  You can snowshoe with Bill Briggs around the farm at 1:00PM.

Tom Widing of Chestnut Mountain Productions brings a selected group of films and documentaries about mountain culture\, sports\, environment and adventure & exploration to the State Theater. \nMOAC has a table in the lobby to spread the club’s mission and the board is looking for volunteers to help in that cause.
