SUMMARY:Acadia Camping\, Biking\, and Hiking
DESCRIPTION:Per our MOAC tradition\, we will be camping at The Bar Harbor Campground.   See link:  https://www.thebarharborcampground.com/.  Please review so that you are aware of the campground rules\, etc.  I am estimating costs for tenting is between $35.00 and $40.00 per night.   They do not take credit cards but will accept checks and there is also an onsite ATM.  Also\, reservations cannot be made but we have never had issues securing sites.  We generally camp along Loop “B”. \nThe plan will be to bike the carriage paths or hike.   Volunteers will be needed to lead biking and hiking trips. \nIf there is enough interest\, we may do a potluck dinner on Saturday.  Otherwise\, everyone is on their own for food. \nHopefully the weather will cooperate.  If not\, we can bail at the last minute with no money committed.

SUMMARY:Secret Canoe Trip Revealed!!
DESCRIPTION:Lonely?  Dog won’t come?  On hold again\, phone playing the same old song?  Inflation and climate change cut your 401k to a 301c?  Find companionship and respect!  Seek answers to politics through free expression.  This should be an easy trip\, good for novices with simple grasp of right and left.  Guaranteed perfect weather and delightful company!  No need for a partner!  Indeed\, most from previous trips have joined Match to recover.  Partners will be traded every day…no…not like that…We have extra canoes.  High class food and all cooking equipment provided!  All you need is a tent and sleeping bag.  Cheap too!  Cost around $50 go for the whole weekend.  Doing the  East Machias River!  Starting at Pococmoonshine lake Saturday morning.  Meet The night before where route 9 crosses the east Machias River\, – Birch Hill Rd. -at the campsite in the afternoon or evening.  Early people will have cars spotted.  Late people just drinks.  After a hearty breakfast in the morning we will drive up to the put-in at Pocomoonshine and take off!  Camp two more nights at secret primitive locations.  Out late Monday. \nEmail me with your name\, phone number\, whether you have a canoe and where you’re driving from- If you have a car and want to drive – so we can get car pooling together.  Put “Canoe” in the title so I can search easily. \nDan  2o7 for78\, 6835 \ndkidd@fairpoint.net
