DESCRIPTION:Are you eager to put your butt onto a bike seat and ride 180 miles in 3 days for a great charity?! Well\, MOAC has a Trek Across Maine Team\, the Trek raises money for the American Lung Association\, and we all want clean air for our MOAC activities. \nCome join us! \nThe team has raised upwards of $50\,000 doing the Trek since 2016. \nFeel free to contact me with any questions\, but there are various training rides to join around the area to prepare. It’s very well supported with three rest stops per day\, and no sustained distances any day > 20 miles before option of a rest stop\, overnights are at Bates and St. Joe’s this year.  Great fun\, great people\, and an experience like no other. Current team members are a mix of MOAC members and non-members\, so if you have a non-MOAC buddy\, they can also be on the team! \nCheck out the MOAC Trek page link for more details!

DESCRIPTION:Trip full. \n  \nGo sailing on Casco Bay on my Cape Dory 36 on Saturdays in June\, weather permitting. We’ll set sail from the Falmouth area and go out around the islands in the afternoon.  Bring a snack to share\, water\, sunglasses\, warm layers\, closed toe non-marking shoes (sneakers are ok)\, and a rain jacket. Some sailing experience is preferable\, but not required. \nWarning\,  my cat Moana will also be sailing with us. Please take meds if you are allergic. She’s very friendly and will say hi.
