SUMMARY:Come to my rental Camps and Swim\, paddle\, eat…..
DESCRIPTION:Swim and paddle day at my camp. Weds\, Come up to my camps that aren’t rented this week! Arrive anytime after 1:00 and stay on until 10 for potluck\, grill or campfire\, see a beautiful sunset\, stargaze or just tell stories around the campfire and listen to the loons. A little over 1 hour north of Portland on China Lake\, China\, Maine. From Portland\, take 295 until it merges with 95 and exit 113 in Augusta takes you to Rt 3 East toward Belfast\, Rt 202 and RSVP to get details on the FireRd and how to find the correct rental camps. There are 2 public boat launches on the lake if someone has a sailboat or motorboat- I have a mooring(and a dock). I’m getting a new swim float\, that with any luck will be in the water by Weds. Weather is supposed to be hot and sunny that day and the rest of the week up there. Camp is about 15 mins from exit in Augusta and there’s a Hannafords 5 mins before my camp road. You may want water shoes for water entry\, bring your floaties\, canoes\, kayak\, SUPs etc. I have an SUP\, a couple of kayaks that are available for guests to use. Please carpool if possible. Depending on how many show up\, folding chairs might come in handy but I have seating for 14 already. oh btw\, fishing is great so if that’s your thing\, bring your fishing gear! (3BR is available Thurs-Sun if anyone is interested in renting). RSVP for specific location of camps. BYO potluck to share\, something to grill and drink.

Dan was drawn to kitesurfing after seeing it for the first time at Pine Point Beach. He has been kiting for four years and recently starting to explore the hydrofoil discipline. Dan credits his previous experience snowboarding\, wakeboarding\, and flying airplanes with helping him learn to kitesurf\, though he encourages people from all backgrounds and skill levels to take lessons and try it out. \n \nScott Furr has been kitesurfing for 11 years\, windsurfing and sailing for 30 years. About two years ago he started teaching kitesurfing to friends\, and last year officially started Kite Maine\, offering coaching and lessons in all things kite-related. Originally from the other Portland (Oregon)\, he has always had a love of the outdoors and has spent the last 16 years in Maine exploring all there is to do in this amazing state. \n  \nArthur Marachel has been surrounded by kites for as long as he remembers summer beach vacations. Progressively flying more intricate machines\, he started kitesurfing four years ago\, thanks to the beautifully protected Maine beaches.
