DESCRIPTION:Blackstrap Hill Community Forest\, Falmouth \nWhat: 4 miles of hills\, roots\, and rocks. We’ll follow the river and aim to reach the cattle tunnel under the Turnpike and connect to Hadlock Forest. The tunnel is half creepy\, half fun. The river is all gorgeous. Bring a snack for a pause at the snowmobile pavilion. Hunting is allowed here. Please\, no dogs. \nWhen: Saturday\, January 6\, 9:00-12 pm. \nWhere: 106 Hurricane Rd.\, Falmouth. Hurricane Rd. runs between Blackstrap Rd. and Gray Rd. From Gray Rd\, the trailhead parking lot is about a mile down Hurricane Rd. on the left\, just after you cross the Turnpike. SUMMARY:Walking with the Animals: IDing tracks
DESCRIPTION:This walk is being held with the Scarborough Land Trust and led by Samantha Wolf\, SLT’s Stewardship Director\, for a workshop on identifying wildlife tracks!  We will practice identifying the parts of the track and look for common species. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDear Participant\,\n\n\n\n\nThank you for registering for our upcoming Winter Wildlife Tracks. This program will be held at Libby River Preserve this Saturday at 1:00pm. We look forward to seeing you and exploring Libby River Preserve. Our leader for this program will be SLT Stewardship Director Sami Wolf.\n\n  \n\n\nHere is some information you will need to know for Saturday:\n\n\n  \n\n\nBe on time in the parking lot at Libby River Preserve. We will start at 1:00 pm and expected to return back to the parking lot around 3:00pm.\n\n\n  \n\n\nIt is highly recommended to wear footwear that is waterproof and mud proof.\n\n\nLet me know a phone number to reach you Saturday morning if we need to cancel because of inclement weather. A decision will be made by 9 am.\n\n\nDress for the weather. Layers are always a good idea in the winter as you can add or subtract layers based upon the temperature.\n\n\nHave a good winter hat\, boots and gloves.
