DESCRIPTION:Hadlock Forest\, Falmouth \n*Update on 1/30: I walked some of our route this morning\, and I think snowshoes are the way to go* \nWhat: About 4 mile hike or snowshoe (as of 1/28\, it’s not clear which we’ll need) over hills\, roots\, and lots of boulders. We’ll go through an old quarry. This is a working forest with a great variety of tree species and terrain. Bring studs or spikes. Hunting is allowed here. No dogs\, please. \nWhen: Wednesday\, January 31\, 9 am -12 pm \nWhere: Rines Forest parking lot\, Range Rd\, Cumberland. The lot is directly across Range Rd. from Idlewood Dr. The parking lot is new as of 2022 and has about 8 spaces. We’ll take the connector from Rines into Hadlock. \nWho: Laura Williams.
