DESCRIPTION:Hike in East Windham Conservation Area \nWhat: About 4.5 miles round trip\, out and back. We’ll go through Lowell Preserve and reach North Falmouth Community Forest. The surface is wide gravel roads\, then rooty woods trails. Some moderate hills. We’ll go along Little Duck Pond. If the weather is clear\, we should be able to see Mt. Washington. Bring a snack for a rest break. Hunting is allowed so wear your blaze orange. No dogs\, please. \nWhen: Friday\, October 18\, 9:30 am -12:00 \nWhere: 187 Falmouth Rd.\, Windham. Look for the large blue signs at the road. If you’re coming from Falmouth\, it’s immediately before the utility corridor. Drive straight back to the large parking lot. \nWho: Laura Williams. HAPPY HOUR this Friday will be the SAGAMORE HILL LOUNGE located at 150 PARK STREET in PORTLAND. Full bar\, light bites\, kind of a classy spot with reasonable prices. Free parking on all adjacent streets and at all meters as well come 6:00PM.
