DESCRIPTION:Let’s go again to the Sugarloaf area for downhill/cross-country skiing\, hiking\, snowshoeing or for whatever is your game!\nAgain\, we will stay at the Maine Roadhouse in Stratton which is an old-time favorite and where the owners\, Jen & Jen\, are most welcoming. They offer a bunkroom with beds that have privacy separations\, lights and curtains and also 5 private rooms. The bunk beds go for $40 per night and breakfast is included Plus\, we can use the kitchen for potluck suppers.\n\nDates are Sunday February 23rd to the 26th (Maine day at the ski mountain).\nYou make your own reservation by calling and they don’t need any money upfront! Come for some of the nights or stay more before and after. DESCRIPTION:Meet at Gorhan Hannafords at 8 am for carpooling or at Jackson Ski Lodge at 9:30 am. Tickets are $25 for xc skiing\, $10 for snowshoeing.  There is a deli that serves soups and sandwiches or bring lunch to eat in the lodge.  RSVP by text or call to 207-899-8518  so I know you are coming. \nJackson Ski Touring Foundation is just North of N. Conway\, NH and is the largest Nordic ski area in the east boasting 75 K of trails for all skill levels: classic\, skate and snowshoes.  I’ll be on skate but you can ski or bigfoot as you please at whatever pace suits you.

SUMMARY:Nordic skiing at Pineland Farms
DESCRIPTION:Meet at Pineland Farms for miles of cross country skiing on beautiful groomed trails. I will be on classic Nordic skis and intermediate/expert trails – beginners are welcome and there are great easy trails to choose from. The trails are also groomed for skate skiing\, and there’s a separate trail network for snowshoeing if you prefer. Tickets are $20 for xc skiing\, $12 for snowshoeing. We can get lunch in the cafe after a couple hours skiing\, then go back out to the trails if people want a longer workout. Meet at 10 AM with your trail pass already purchased\, all geared up and ready to hit the trails. RSVP by text or call to 207-380-6008 for our meeting place so I know who’s coming.
