SUMMARY:Easy Spring Canoe Overnight Trip\, Tunk Lake!
DESCRIPTION:By this time\, you’ve probably figured out it’s spring and time to explore the Maine Wilderness!  Yes!  Easy Canoe Trip!  We have extra canoes\, partners and we know how to use them!  We’re going to play music around the campfire so bring an instrument if you can!  All high-class cooking gear and high-class food provided!  All you need is a tent (we have tents too!)  and sleeping bag.  ‘A great introduction to our great woods if it’s your first time!  Beginners welcome!  The weather looks good for the weekend.  We launch at the public launch 20 miles east of Ellsworth.  Some people are going up early (late) Friday\, otherwise leaving the parking lot Saturday morning.  ‘Returning Sunday evening.  Text/email me for a spot today!  We’ll be carpooling! \nSpring is here!

DESCRIPTION:@ 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM\nCelebrate the sun higher in the sky in a beautiful place!  New member Betsy Anderson\, who lives near Wells Reserve\, will take us on trails through marsh\, beach and fields for about 4 miles  to catch up on the changes that spring brings to this estuary.    Please contact Betsy by text or phone at 207-450-6584 to let her know to expect you.  Eileen will be traveling from Buxton\, so Exit 42 Park n’ Ride behind the Sea Dog in Scarborugh will work for carpooling.  Contact Eileen for carpooling 207-749-0211.  Take precautions re: ticks and bring water and a lunch or snacks.  Sorry\, no dogs allowed due to fragile land and nesting birds and wildlife.  We will go out to socialize and for food/drink after the walk for those who wish.\nMEET in the public parking area at 342 Laudholm Farm Road\, Wells\, Maine.  We will gather at the kiosk at the East edge of the parking area\, by the new “Welcome Hut.”\nSustained heavy rain will cancel\, and we will plan to reschedule.
