SUMMARY:Cruise to Eagle Island in Casco Bay
DESCRIPTION:Cruise to Eagle Island aboard Blue Glory II\, a 28 foot lobster yacht.  The Eagle island museum was the summer house of Artic explorer Robert Peary the first person to reach the North Pole.  We will hike the island and visit the museum.  Pack a lunch and light hiking shoe.  Do not bring a cooler\, I will have one and plenty of ice. We will leave Aspasia Marina\, 257 Front St\, in SoPo at 9:30 and return at 5 pm.  Park on Front St.  Text Art at 207-332-2276.  Space is limited

Which is FREE parking.)\n\nMundy\, an Irish indie folk singer-songwriter\, and visual artist\, from County Offaly. Well known for a soulful voice and infectious tunes\, he gained prominence with his 1996 debut album\, “Jelly Legs.” His work blends traditional Irish influences with contemporary folk\, rock and Americana. Known for his poignant lyrics and captivating live performances\, he was signed to Epic Records. Six of his eight albums reached the top 10 in Ireland. His hit single “July” remains a beloved anthem. With over two decades in the music scene\, Mundy has played support for artists like Lucinda Williams\, Bob Dylan\, Neil Young\, Emmylou Harris\, the Waterboys and the Pogues.
