DESCRIPTION:Attention!  A number of people were kind enough to point out that I had made a mistake .  Drive up Thursday morning!\, home by Sunday night. Starting at Allagash Lake. Going through Chamberlain Lake.  We’ve got extra canoes and partners. You’re going to need a sleeping bag tent and a change of clothes and maybe a rabbit’s foot.  I’ll bring all the food and cook gear.  As usual\, the Dan Kidd. Perfect weather guarantee!  Split costs. They should end up being about 150 bucks with food\, permits and gas.

Description:  A happily married father of two\, shaken by a mysterious message written in a birthday card for his daughter\, abruptly leaves his family for a week-long trek through the Grand Canyon.
