SUMMARY:A Challenging Hike- Canceled Due to Lack of Interest
DESCRIPTION:Hike the Attitash trail from Bear Notch road to Diana’s Baths. Distance about 9.5 miles with about 2500’ gain. This is rated as a very strenuous/ hard hike.Steep rugged sections\, gravelly paths\, exposed ledges. Trail is not well marked. Disclaimer: I have never done this trail so I’m not sure what challenges we might encounter but it should give us  the ‘A’ of MOAC .   We will have to do a car spot and shuttle.  Limited to experienced hikers. DESCRIPTION:Gather on Ferry Beach in Scarborough off Black Point Road for some socializing\, swimming and walking as the sun goes down. Bring a beach chair\, your dinner\, whatever beverages you may desire and maybe a layer or two. Join me for an ocean dip if the spirit moves you. The weather right now says sunny  and 74 degrees–just right for a late summer evening hang. The tide will be high so there won’t be a lot of beach but there will be a lot of water for swimming! \nThe fee collection booth closed for the season so the entrance to the beach is free.  NOTICE: This is NOT Ferry Beach State Park in Saco–it’s a small beach just past Scarborough Beach on the right\, off Black Point Road.  Text me at 450-1144 with questions.
