SUMMARY:Hike Thayer Brook Preserve
DESCRIPTION:This is a no hunting game preserve that is part of the Royal River Land Trust.  In spite of that you\, may want to wear blaze orange. Meet at 10 AM at the trailhead — 92 Ramsdell Rd. in Gray. If you are driving in from 202\, it’s on the right just after Bud’ Lane and you will see a blue sign with white lettering for Thayer Brook Preserve. \nBring a snack or lunch and water. Poles are optional but I found them to be helpful on some of the trails. It’s about a 4-mile hike with ups and downs but no significant elevation. There are several large puddles that can be walked around. The trail goes around a marsh and through the woods. \nThis trip is weather dependent. \nThere are about 8 – 10 parking spots.
