SUMMARY:Potluck/hiking weekend Conway\, NH
DESCRIPTION:Weather permitting arrive at my house in the late afternoon Saturday\, November 5. Plan to have a potluck and bonfire.  Then if you want to stay overnight and wake up rather early to hike Sunday\, November 6 bring a sleeping bag. I plan to do a NH 4000 footer and would enjoy some company. But if others want to do something less challenging you can make a second group. We will all need to be out of the house rather early Sunday if you don’t plan on hiking anyway. \nI have five beds (first come first served) and plenty of floor space for blowup mattresses. Bring your own bedding and food for Sunday morning.  OR. Come to just socialize Saturday. Come to just hike on Sunday \nEmail or text me to RSVP and obtain my address.   When people RSVP we will start to work on a menu. Weather may alter plans. If you plan to stay over bring your sleeping bag and something to eat for Sunday morning.  If you plan to hike with me please be prepared for conditions. Bring some firewood if you have some extra.

SUMMARY:Climb Mt. Kearsarge North
DESCRIPTION:We’ll climb to the fire tower on Mt. Kearsarge North (Hurricane Road trailhead) – 6.2 miles round trip\, 2\,600′ elevation gain\, a moderately difficult hike. Bring lunch\, snacks and water – it looks like a beautiful day! Throw an extra layer in for the top\, although we might not need it. Max group size is 8; RSVP by text\, phone or email for meeting places and times (we’re not starting at 2 AM)\, and carpooling. We’ll probably go out for refreshments afterwards. Fully vaccinated hikers only.
