DESCRIPTION:On the 52WAV list this will be approximately 8 miles with approximately 1800′ of elevation gain.  Fairly relaxed hiking pace (I am slow). \nWe will park in a dedicated hiker lot at the top of Ossipee Park Rd in Moultonborough NH\, \nEmail\, call or text to let me know you are coming and coordinate car pooling\,  I am coming from Saco and trailhead parking is about 1:20 – from Portland area about 1:30. \nMeet at trailhead at 9:30 and head out no later than 10.  We should be down by 3 including stops and lunch at the top. \nThings to bring: Hiking boots\, hiking poles\, layers\, food\, water\, camera\, bug spray (yup they are still hanging around)\, sun screen. \nPossible stop somewhere on the way home for food and beverage. \nElaine 207-650-7417 \nhttps://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-hampshire/mount-shaw-via-cold-spring-trail \n
