SUMMARY:Hike the new East Windham Conservation Area
DESCRIPTION:Hike the new East Windham Conservation Area\n \nWhat: 3.1 miles through this preserve that opened earlier this month. The surface is wide gravel roads\, then rooty woods trails. Some moderate hills. We’ll go along Little Duck Pond and see boulders. If the weather is clear\, we should be able to see Mt. Washington. The blackflies are out in force\, so be prepared. Bring a snack for a rest break. Hunting is allowed. No dogs\, please. \nWhen: Monday\, May 20\, 9:30 am -12:00 \nWhere: 187 Falmouth Rd.\, Windham. Look for the large signs at the road. If you’re coming from Falmouth\, it’s immediately before the utility corridor. Drive straight back to the large parking lot (the road on the right is just for construction traffic). \nWho: Laura Williams.
