SUMMARY:Union River Evening Paddle
DESCRIPTION:Paddle the Union River in Ellsworth Saturday night with a full moon rising at about 6. The tide is not quite right going out\, but it will be coming in on the way back. Put in at the Ellsworth Harbor Park and Marina\, paddle to the mouth of the river and return\, usually about 2 hours. This is a great paddle\, since there is never much boat traffic. Enjoy possibly bald eagles\, seals\, loons\, cormorants. Bring bug dope. \nThis river paddle is suitable for canoes\, and kayaks\, lake or sea. If you want to send it in advance\, that will simplify things at the put in.
