DESCRIPTION:Come on out to hear me and dozens of my Portland Community Chorus friends in our 2022 holiday concerts in beautiful St. Luke’s Cathedral\, 143 State Street\, Portland. It will be sacred\, festive\, percussive\, jolly and a perfect spot to spend an hour or so celebrating the holiday season with us.\nJust two shows:\n* Friday\, December 2nd at 7:30 pm\n* Saturday\, December 3rd at 2:00 pm\nPay what you can with suggested donation of $15. Kids under 12 FREE! For your donation go to: https://www.portlandcommunitychorus.org/events.html\nWe’ll be doing 11 songs from all different parts of the world. Support your local arts and artists (like me!) and share the love of music this holiday season! I’d love to see some bright\, happy MOAC faces in the audience.\nThis is a “leaderless” event\, since I will be among the performers! 🙂

SUMMARY:MOAC Monthly Meeting – Yellowstone in Winter
DESCRIPTION:MOAC member (and board member) Marianne Hill will share slides and stories from her December 23- 28\, 2015  trip to Yellowstone.  Yellowstone has an eerie beauty in the winter as steam from hot springs dots or even shrouds the landscape.  Animals are easy to spot against the snow\, which averages over 13 feet deep near Yellowstone Lake.  Marianne visited Mammoth Hot Springs\, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone; Yellowstone Lake; West Thumb geyser basin and more.
