DESCRIPTION:Our Next Monthly Meeting:  Wed Sept. 3rd \nPresentation:  The Story – Maine Huts & Trails\nPresented By:  Wolfe Tone – Maine Huts & Trails Executive Director \nThe Story:  Maine Huts & Trails\nThe Maine Huts & Trails (MH&T) experience is more than a backcountry adventure—it’s a journey through nature that invites connection\, discovery\, and belonging. Along over 80 miles of free\, year-round trails\, guests hike\, ski\, or bike from hut to hut\, immersed in the beauty of Maine’s wilderness. Inside the huts\, the warmth of a woodstove\, shared meals\, and laughter among strangers-turned-friends create moments of genuine camaraderie. Not long ago\, MH&T was confronted by operational challenges made even steeper by the pandemic.
