DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT HAD TO BE CANCELED DUE TO FAMILY COMMITMENTS THAT WERE RESCHEDULED. UNFORTUNATELY\, I missed the deadline Fri to officially cancel. Only one member contacted me. I prefer ” Show and Go” for such safe events as flat walking. \n Sorry if you drove to Wells. Hopefully\, you walked anyway and enjoyed your day! \nThis salt water preserve of 2\,250 acres has seven miles of wooded and open trails\, a beach\, and is known as a birder’s paradise and home to native wildlife species. Dress for the weather in layers and wear sturdy trail shoes\, as some areas could be damp\, think peat moss. Bring water\, a lunch or snacks. We may stop for beverages if walkers are interested.
