Do you have unused holiday or vacation time? A day off is a terrible thing to waste. Come join us for a fun hike on Mt. Tremont. From the summit, we’ll have views to nearby peaks and Sawyer Pond below. This is an out and back hike on the Mt. Tremont Trail
Distance: 5.6 Miles Round Trip
Elevation Gain: 2,600 Ft.
Estimated Time: 4 to 5 hours
Boots on the trail at 9 a.m. sharp!
Meet at the Mt. Tremont Trailhead, located in Harts Location on the south side (on your right if approaching from Crawford Notch) of Rt. 302, 0.5 mile west of Sawyer Rock Picnic Area. Park along Rt. 302, opposite the trailhead.
Carpool leaves the L.L. Bean/Hannaford Parking lot off exit 14 in Concord NH at 6:45 a.m. (Park in the back of the lot near I-93)
This is a winter hike in the White Mountains. Adequate gear including but not limited to insulated boots, Microspikes or similar traction devices, extra clothing, hats, gloves, etc. No cotton clothing.
