SUMMARY:Belknap Range loop hike
DESCRIPTION:Four summits in one hike in the Lake Winnepesaukee region.  We’ll do Mounts Major\, North & South Straightback\, and Anna.  Trail reports sound like it’s spring conditions (as expected)\, so expect some mud\, snow\, ice\, and water.  This hike is about 7 miles and 1\,800 feet elevation gain.  The weather forecast looks great! \nWe’ll hike as a group at a moderate pace.  Email me (at wdbriggs10@gmail.com) to let me know you’re interested.  If I haven’t hiked with you before\, I’ll need to ask you about your hiking experience.  I’ll send more information to the group.

DESCRIPTION:Happy Hour for Friday\, April 15 will be at RIVALRIES SPORTS PUB AND RESTAURANT in Falmouth. View Map. Seating will likely be inside unless it warms up sufficiently for them to open their patio. Ample parking in their lot. \nWith the advent of cooler weather\, MOAC Happy Hours may now be located at establishments offering limited or no options for outdoor seating.  For each Happy Hour venue\, we will try to give as much information as practical about available seating options. \nParticipation in Happy Hour events\, regardless of seating options\, is a personal decision and MOAC assumes no liability for potential health risks associated with attending these activities. \nVaccination against COVID-19 (including approved booster shots) is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED\, but not required for participation in Happy Hour events.   Participants are expected to practice safe behaviors including social distancing\, hand washing and wearing a mask when not eating/drinking or when not seated.  Please be respectful of other people’s choices and comfort level.  ****Do not participate if you are not feeling well\, exhibiting COVID symptoms\, have recently tested positive for COVID or have come into close contact with someone who may be COVID positive. ****

SUMMARY:Mt. Crawford Hike
DESCRIPTION:This is about a 5 mile hike with about 2\,100 feet elevation gain.  The pace of this hike will be moderate\, and should take about 4 hours counting rest and lunch stops.  The current weather prediction for Monday is for mostly sunny skies with a high in the mid-40s.  We’ll hike as a group.  Maximum group size is 8.  It’s still partly winter in this area\, but based on the most recent trail reports\, we’ll need Microspikes\, but not snowshoes. \nBy reservation only.  Email me (wdbriggs10@gmail.com) to reserve your spot and for more information (including meeting time\, location\, and possible carpooling).  Please\, no texts.  If I haven’t hiked with you before\, let me know your winter hiking experience and your phone number.
