SUMMARY:Interest in a week or two in Lake Tahoe?
DESCRIPTION:Hello all\, I’ve been to Lake Tahoe nine (9) times\, and I have to go a 10th time!  Plan would be to fly on a Thurs or Fri in early March for the big snow dumps for which Lake Tahoe is famous with air temps in the high 60s and 70s during the day.  I’ll be staying about two weeks.  Flights into Sacramento or Reno are the best gateways.  I’ll be skiing Heavenly\, NorthStar and Kirkwood on week days only.  Otherwise\, Nordic skiing at Royal Gorge and  with many any other options between California and Nevada.  Beautiful scenery everywhere and a small town feel in South Lake Tahoe\, where I usually stay.  Other desireable locations to stay are on the north shore or in  Stateline\, Nevada.  Virginia Lake in Reno and the lakes in Sparks are stocked with fish and a beautiful area surrounded by some of the highest peaks in the area.  I usually alpine tour with skins and undoubtedly\, full metal edge back country Nordic skiing as well.  None of the state park roads are plowed so skiing in to areas along the lake is fun as is hiking in snow with exquisite views!  I can check into boat tours if there is any interest.  I personally have never toured by boat.  The lake doesn’t freeze over and “Keep Tahoe Blue” is the local theme to keep the water clear in this huge alpine lake! \nPlease reach out with a quick email with Tahoe as the subject and state\, “Yes\, I’m interested” or “Maybe I’ll be interestd” and any questions.  I don’t know the cost until I know the number of interested members for accomodations and transportation will be up to you\, of course.   Low impact\, no stress trip.   I have always stayed where there are full kitchens\, and often hot tubs and heated pools.  Timeshare owners who have points or weeks to trade can do very well in Lake Tahoe!
