Over the course of three weeks\, the couple reached the Arctic Circle\, encountered bears\, camped in Denali National Park and much more in-between. It was a journey of a lifetime covering more than 2500 miles. \nCome see the pictures and hear the stories from Peter’s retirement trip. \n—————————— \nTammy and Peter have been MOAC members for close to 20 years. They have been involved in all aspect of the club from being on the board\, to running annual events like the holiday party and leading trips. Peter has put out the monthly newsletter for years. They currently lead two large annual trips in the fall\, one to Flagstaff Hut of Maine Huts & Trails\, and the other is a volunteer weekend for Acadia National Park. \n_________________ \nIn addition to the presentations\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. It’s also a chance for new or prospective members to ask questions.
