Let’s enjoy the new snow at the Pineland cross country ski trails in New Gloucester. Meet at 1 pm at the Outdoor Center Waxing Room. There is a charge to ski there. I think (not sure) that the half day rate begins at 1 pm. After our ski, we can enjoy a hot chocolate at the Cafe upstairs from the outdoor center. You can rent equipment there if you wish. Volunteers Needed
MOAC is a 100% volunteer organization. Things only happen if people step up to do them. MOAC needs:
Keeper Of The Inventory - MOAC doesn't own much but we need someone to keep what we do have under control. Mostly consumables we use at events (paper products, plastic silverware, etc).
Monthly Meeting Recorder - It's sorta like the minutes of a board meeting, but much less formal. A lot happens at a monthly meeting and to have someone take notes helps the club a lot.
Please email board@moac.org if you are interested in helping out. MOAC only works because volunteers decide to make it happen!
Winterfest 2019! March 2.
MOAC's winter social is booked. Plan on heading to Five Ponds Farm in Bridgton on Saturday, March 2 for a day of nordic skiing, snow shoeing, eating, laughing, and just a lot of fun. The event is now on the MOAC calendar so please check there often for updates. We will be looking for help in setting up/taking down, leading events, and help with organizing.
