Monday, December 21st, 5:30-7pm The Conant Homestead 89 Conant St, Westbrook sliding scale donation, no tickets requiredJoin us for an evening of darkness and light to reconnect with acoustic sound in observance of the winter solstice. The second installment of this experimental outdoor concert series resembles an art museum experience, with chamber music and fire illuminating the landscape while the audience follows a path of listening and reflection. This series highlights nonwhite and lgbtq composers, and features some of Maine’s most thoughtful musicians. Please arrive between 5:30 and 6pm, and move through the installation at your own pace. Sliding scale donations are welcomed. Cash and venmo accepted, everything goes to the musicians. Bundle up, wear boots, bring a flashlight.
