Hello MOACers,

Happy 4th of July Weekend. Here’s our last minute plan to paddle. We will launch from the Crescent Lake boat ramp in Raymond tomorrow (Sunday, July 7) at 2pm (after the World Cup Final)

Meet at 2:00pm – Easy Paddle – Conversation pace – We plan to paddle around the lake and explore Tenny Stream down to Panther Pond.  Boat Ramp address is 584-596 Webbs Mills Road, Raymond

Recreational kayaks and canoes welcome – PFD required.  Bring snacks and water,  hats and sunscreen.  The weather looks good and the water has warmed enough to include a swim.

Crescent Lake is an interconnected waterway consisting of four lakes (namely Raymond Pond, Crescent Lake and Panther Pond. The Tenney River connects Crescent Lake to Panther Pond

Directions (from Portland, ME): Travel west on Rt. 302 towards Windham.  Drive through Windham and into Raymond.  When Rt. 302 Intersects with Rt 85 (Good Life Market on your right)  Turn Right onto 85.  Follow Rt 85 and slow down when Rt. 85 intersects with Rt. 121.  The boat launch will be on your right.
