SUMMARY:Westbrook River Walk and Rivermeadow Nature Preserve
DESCRIPTION:Join me in exploring one of Westbrook’s newer nature preserves right along the Presumpscot River. We’ll start downtown at Riverbank Park (677 Main St)\, by the playground. Then we’ll wander along the River Walk\, cross the Presumpscot and head out to the Rivermeadow Nature Preserve\, off of Lincoln St. The website says this area is forested wetlands\, so it might be a bit muddy. The whole walk should be a little more than 3 miles. No stress pace. Show and go.

SUMMARY:Forest City Trail
DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to walk across Portland? Now is your chance. Come join me on the Forest City Trail!  This is a 10-mile route across the best of Portland  and includes 9 trails\, 2 school campuses\, several parks\, some connectors on city roads\, an historic cemetery\, the new Stroudwater bridge\, and two waterfalls! Some of the trails are: Stroudwater Trail\, Fore River Sanctuary\, Evergreen Cemetery\, and Oat Nuts Park. We’ll meet at the north end to spot a car and then shuttle down to the beginning. Bring water\, snacks\, and sunscreen. It will be sunny and warm\, so I’m hoping to start early\, maybe 7:30am\, but that’s negotiable. Please email me or text 207-272-4939 if you’re interested.

DESCRIPTION:Join me on hike up Puzzle Mt\, near Bethel. Great views of the Mahoosucs and the White Mts along the way and at the summit with lots of open ledge. 7.5 miles\, 2\,500’ elevation gain. Strenuous hike. Bring bug spray and a head net if you have one (just in case). If I haven’t hiked with you\, I’d like to chat beforehand. DESCRIPTION:Join me for a hike up Pleasant Mt on a warm\, sunny day! Moderate/strenuous level hike.  4.7 miles round trip\, 2\,000′ elevation gain.
