DESCRIPTION:Join Us in Spreading Kindness on the Trail! Are you looking for a meaningful way to support AT thru hikers on their epic journey? Join our Trail Magic event and help make a difference! You too may earn your wings as a Trail Angel. Wed.\, Sept 3- Thurs.\, Sept 4 and possibly Sept 5th. \nWhat Is Trail Magic? Trail Magic is a cherished tradition along the Appalachian Trail—unexpected acts of kindness that provide hikers with nourishment\, encouragement\, and a sense of community. Our event aims to offer a welcoming respite for hikers\, featuring delicious food\, coffee\, and friendly faces. \nWhere? We’ll be stationed at Lake Nahmakanta\, where there are several campsites\, picnic tables\, fire rings\, and latrines. Bring you kayak or canoe to explore the lake and extend your stay at one of the lake campsites. More details to follow. \nHow You Can Help? \nWe need helping hands with the following tasks: \n\nPreparing and Serving Food: Cook\, assemble\, and serve snacks and meals to hungry hikers as they pass through. No culinary expertise required—just a willingness to pitch in!\nGathering Trash: Help keep the trail and our staging area pristine by collecting litter and properly disposing of waste.
