SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting - Presumpscot River: Looking Toward the Future of an old River Found
DESCRIPTION:The Presumpscot River was named by the Wabenaki for its many falls and rapids. It once held massive runs of searun fish. After colonization it become the most industrialized and polluted river in the state. It has had the largest percentage of its total length under dams and the back waters they created and the fish runs were lost. It was for all practical purposes an open sewer for homes and industries. \nNow a number of organizations are developing a shared vision for the river’s future. A vision not set in the 18th and 19th centuries but one for the 21st century. One that addresses recreation\, health\, community development and livability\, water quality\, free flows\, ecology\, and education. It is a vision that addresses protection and conservation along the river and into the watershed. \nThe Friends of the Presumpscot River have been a leader in the restoration of this river since 1992. We are grateful to our many allies who have\, and are now\, joining us in this effort. We are at a true turning point for the river. \n—————– \nPresenter’s Bio \nMichael Shaughnessy is a founding Board member and current president of the Friends of the Presumpscot River. He is a Westbrook City Councilor and serves on various committees. He is professor Emeritus at the University of Southern Maine in Art. He is married to Malory Shaughnessy and lives on the Conant Homestead above the Falls of Saccarappa. \n—————– \n6:30PM Social;   7:00PM  Program Start\nA2U2 Church\, 524 Allen Ave.\, Portland

SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting: Hope for Winter: Preserving Snow & Cold through Collective Community Action
DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to welcome UNH’s Dr. Liz Burakowski for a timely look at the future of the winter season many of us love most.  No matter what your outdoor passions are\,  join us for an evening designed to inform and inspire anyone with a deep passion for the Maine outdoors and a desire to protect our winters. \n“Growing up in New Hampshire\, I have fond memories of snow days\, pond skating\, sledding\, and so many other wintry activities associated with quiet\, white landscapes. I sensed a shift in 2002\, when I was in college\, during the warmest winter on record since 1895. By 2004\, I was determined to learn more about why our winters were warming. Through the course of my scientific career\, I have met so many other folks that share my passion for preserving our cold\, snowy New England winters.” — Dr. Liz Burakowski \nBio:  Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Burakowski is an Associate Professor at UNH’s Institute for the Study of Earth\, Oceans and Space. A widely published author on the Northeast’s changing climate\, Liz is a gifted communicator who has brought her message to the TEDx stage. Her work focuses on the past\, present\, and future of our winter landscapes and the ripple effects of these changes on our ecosystems and community. \nA “powder-hound” in her own right\, Liz learned to ski at Saskadena Six in the late 1980s\, later picked up snowboarding\, and has been a backcountry split-boarder for years. In addition to her role at UNH\, Liz has serves on the Protect Our Winters (POW) Science Alliance\, advocating for the snowy seasons that define our identity.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting - Cashes Ledge - The Yellowstone of the North Atlantic
DESCRIPTION:After diving on Cashes Ledge at Ammen Rock\, a peak that sits just 27 feet below the surface at low tide\, globally famous marine researcher Sylvia Earle\, said it was the “The Yellowstone of the North Atlantic.” University of Maine marine scientist Dr. Robert Steneck\, who spent years studying the ledge’s benthic habitat describes it as\, “The Lost World”. Ocean researchers have long considered this 32-mile-long underwater mountain range\, in the central Gulf of Maine\, a biological hotspot and an oceanic gem. \nIn July 2024\, Conservation Law Foundation submitted nomination papers to NOAA to create a Cashes Ledge National Marine Sanctuary. The proposed sanctuary is 766 square miles in size with 194 miles being completed protected. It would encompass the underwater mountain range\, ledges\, ridges\, and surrounding deep water basins. This massive range of ledges creates upwellings of cold nutrient-rich water that fuel an explosion of plankton\, that feed herring\, squid\, and mackerel\, who in turn are prey for tuna\, sharks\, seabirds\, and a high diversity of marine mammals. Cashes holds the deepest and densest kelp forest on the Eastern Seaboard and an environment abounding in fish including a red-colored cod and exceptional benthic life. \nJoin whale watch naturalist and marine conservationist Zack Klyver\, who has visited Cashes numerous times and led several day trips to Cashes Ledge through his company FLUKES. In 2011\, he saw a dozen North Atlantic Right Whales there. On his 2023 tour over 100 guests saw eight species of marine mammals\, 51 species of birds\, along with Basking sharks and ocean sunfish. At the ledge they found two finback whales feeding\, an exuberant pod of nearly 100 Common Bottlenose dolphins\, and a great diversity of oceanic seabirds. In August 2025\, they spotted a large Leatherback Sea Turtle. \nZack Klyver Bio:  Zash has participated in marine mammal eco-tourism and conservation from the Arctic to Antarctica\, including guiding over 3\,000 whale watching tours on the Gulf of Maine. In 2011\, he founded FLUKES: International Whale Tours\, to take the public to see whales in the best places in the world. Zack co-founded and served as Science Director for a Maine based business in 2019\, that worked on the conservation of the North Atlantic Right Whale for four years by testing ropeless lobster fishing gear and pioneered the use of ropeless fishing in gillnet fisheries. In 2020\, he co-founded and currently co-chairs the North Atlantic Whale Watch Naturalist Association. Today\, Zack is a marine mammal advisor to the Blue Green Future\, developing natural capital markets including the economic value of whales based on their ecosystem services. His parents went to Africa to teach school\, and he was born in Nairobi\, Kenya. He grew up in a commercial fishing family in Eastport\, Maine and is a graduate of the College of the Atlantic with a B.A. in Human Ecology. \nPhoto Credits: \nBrian Skerry          Kelp growth on Cashes Ledge

SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting – Indigenous Ruins of the Western US
DESCRIPTION:Sue will be presenting a video slideshow of pictures. Her presentation will show van life briefly but mainly focus on 3 destinations (Mesa Verde and Chaco Canyon and Hovenweep National Monument) of the 78 she visited on her last 7 month trip (March to September) this year around the country. Sue has been working on the list of National Parks. She has 11 left out of 63 now… this last trip was filling in on ones she needed. From maps and apps of the route she picked out other things like Nationals Monuments to visit. Sue says she has always been fascinated by ruins. This is what these 3 places have in common. Getting up close and personal with structures people built long ago is fascinating. Sue says she tries to inspire people with her adventures\, break down barriers for especially older women like herself. \nChaco Canyon \nMesa Verde \nHovenweep \nLong time MOAC member Sue McCarthy is a 62-year-old van life enthusiast from New Hampshire who travels the country in her converted Ford Transit Connect which she converted into a micro camper in 2024 after retiring from her 25 plus year career in psychotherapy. Her journey represents the growing community of solo female travelers embracing the nomadic lifestyle while documenting their experiences through social media. Sue’s love for adventures includes participating in many ‘Dan Kidd trips’ over the years and the completion of the New England sixty seven 4000 foot peaks\, and now long distance van life tours. She has been a world ranked Masters Track and Field sprinter. Her friends say\, she … “never does anything half way…” She has driven cross country 5 times. Through her YouTube channel and social media presence\, she shares both the practical aspects of van living and the joy of discovering America’s natural landscapes while maintaining ties to her New Hampshire roots. SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting – Fran Leyman: Trail Angel Extraordinaire
DESCRIPTION:Fran Leyman has been a member of MOAC since she met and then married Carey Kish\, a founding member. In her vows Fran said she had been looking for a companion for long walks ANYWHERE. Little did she know what this really meant\, as she had married a long-distance hiker aficionado. \nFran has always loved adventure; from horseback and motorcycle riding to scuba diving\, kayaking\, rafting\, swimming and hiking. She loves long day hikes but not the three-six month long thru hikes Carey loves. \nSo…starting with Carey’s hike on the Florida Trail\, then the PCT and last year on the CDT\, she decided to become his personal “Trail Angel.” Fran was particularly excited to follow the CDT as she had not traveled in the Rockies since the 1970’s. \nFran and Carey left Maine with Cassie\, their 17-foot Casita camper\, to spend time on their land in Terlingua\, Texas\, just outside Big Bend NP. They day hiked together as much as possible\, but Carey’s writing deadlines often left her hiking alone\, which she truly loves. \nShe made some reservations in parks and private campgrounds to get started\, and on March 31 she drove Carey to Alpine\, Texas\, 80 miles north and sent him off to Lordsburg\, New Mexico to catch a shuttle to the Mexican border to start his hike. \nShe then set off on her own journey\, hiking\, camping\, sightseeing\, providing help to other hikers and meeting Carey about once a week or so. This slide show will show some highlights of her trip\, from gorgeous ceramic murals to grand vistas\, to an underground mine visit\, to crazy rock formations to her favorite treat: hot springs! So\, come along for the ride. \nCome at 6:30 to socialize and help set up. The meeting starts with trip reports and announcements\, followed by Fran’s talk. \n_________________ \nLocation: the Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church\, 524 Allen Avenue\, Portland (near Northgate Shopping Plaza). SUMMARY:MOAC Monthly Meeting and Presentation - Changed
DESCRIPTION:Kindness: The Superpower for the 21st Century \nJeff Edelstein has had epic adventures in his life\, from the remote Southwest deserts to the high peaks of the Rockies to the barrenlands of arctic Canada. But he’ll be talking about a different type of adventuring\, highly relevant in these times: his work resolving environmental conflict around the U.S.\, helping members of Congress work together across party lines and – most recently – launching Acts of Kindness Maine\, helping individuals\, businesses\, public entities and communities cultivate the kindness that exists in all of us\, in these challenging times. \nIn just two years\, AOK Maine has touched the lives of Mainers throughout the state and attracted national interest. At the meeting\, folks will get to “Spin the Wheel of Kindness\,” hear and share stories of acts of kindness – in the outdoors or anywhere – and learn about AOK Maine’s activities. Everyone will receive a small kindness gift that can be used to create a kindness ripple effect. \nJeff’s life has followed a fulfilling winding path. After dropping out of college\, he commercial fished in Alaska\, lived in a Buddhist monastery\, ran a farm and logged in the Northwest\, roamed around Central America\, and hitchhiked all around the US. He returned to school and got an engineering degree\, but his true calling turned out to be working as an environmental mediator\, resolving conflict on federal forest management policy\, fracking in the Yellowstone region\, hazardous waste cleanup on NYC’s Gowanus Canal\, resolving the South Portland “Tar Sands Pipeline” controversy\, and much more. Jeff is now devoting himself to the adventure of exploring the depths and breadth of what kindness actually means\, and planting seeds of kindness everywhere. Kindness: The Way Life Should Be! \n________________ \nIn addition to the presentations\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. It’s also a chance for new or prospective members to ask questions. Meeting begins at 7:00\, but come at 6:30 to socialize and meet people. \nLocation: the Allen Avenue Unitarian Universalist Church\, 524 Allen Avenue\, Portland (near Northgate Shopping Plaza). SUMMARY:MOAC Monthly Meeting & Presentation
DESCRIPTION:Local Cyclist Invented the “Survue” to Alert Cyclists to Vehicles Approaching from the Rear\nOne of our two guests\, Josh Fox\, an engineer and cyclist\, felt trapped with tall curbs and zooming traffic several years ago\, so decided it was too risky to trailer his daughter when riding. “I started by just taking my phone and literally duct-taping it to my bike\, recording a video\, and running it through an open-source algorithm to see what happens\,” Fox says. “The algorithms grew more and more efficient in pinpointing the location of a vehicle and predicting its future movements. The battery got better and smaller\, so the device was eventually small enough that a cyclist would be willing to stick it on their bike.” \nMOAC Group Cycles the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail\nPat Coon organized a five-night camping and biking trip in Vermont in June 2024. From Pat\, “I’ve biked since I was a kid. When I was in college I learned to fix bikes and started commuting from Amherst to Northampton\, and taking longer adventures\, across Massachusetts then from Boston to Florida. Then I was a bike courier in Chicago for a winter. That was fun. I lived for years without a car in Maine and biked everywhere. As I got older I got out of it\, I think there were two summers when I didn’t have a functional bike. Then about three years ago\, I got back in. First with electric bikes\, then analog. I started doing some bike touring\, and I discovered the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail\, roughly a 150-mile\, (3-4% incline) flat ride from Burlington to St. Johnsbury\, Vermont.” \nIn preparation\, Pat posted multiple bike rides around South Portland that he called\, “Bug to Barrel\,” from Bug Light to Barrelled Souls\, a brewery. Each ride included parts of the Eastern Trail\, roads around SoPo\, Cape and Scarborough. The final “shakedown” ride was 40 miles\, fully loaded with touring gear. \nBike adventures are a challenge of logistics\, of mechanics\, of endurance\, and of spirit. Come see and hear how the group had a super duper trip! \n___________________ \nIn addition to the presentations\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. It’s also a chance for new or prospective members to ask questions. SUMMARY:General Meeting Changed to July 10
DESCRIPTION:Ghosts of Mount Washington by Marianne O’Conner\nMore than one hundred lives have been lost on Mount Washington — it’s no wonder there are stories about ghostly activity there.  \nJoin us at the monthly MOAC Meeting on Wednesday\, June 10 from 6:30pm-8:30 when guest speaker Marianne O’Connor will share stories about those who have lost their lives on the mountain and the memorials that were established after. Some of the memorials have mysterious activity around them. Each one is a sad tale of loss. Marianne will also discuss “The Presence\,” an energy believed to be related to the many lives lost on the deadly mountain.  Each story of tragedy has a lesson and a warning of the adage\, accidents do happen.\nMarianne O’Connor is a retired educator and worked as a school counselor in Nashua\, NH before she retired and moved to Maine. She researched\, wrote\, and published “Haunted Hikes of New Hampshire” in 2008\, and in 2019 began working with a new publisher\, Peter Randall Publishers of Portsmouth\, on a 2nd edition. Marianne has written articles which have appeared in “New Hampshire Magazine\,” Hippo Press\, “Memories of Maine” and other outlets. She has appeared in New Hampshire Public Television’s popular series\, “Windows to the Wild” with Willem Lange. Since 2009\, Marianne has presented programming in schools\, libraries\, and historical centers across New England.\nMarianne currently works for RSU5 in Freeport\, she volunteers for WMPG and produces a radio show\, “Rock Lobstah” on Sunday mornings at 10:00AM. Marianne serves on several committees in Lisbon\, including the Lisbon Historical Society.\nHer father and mother were avid hikers and introduced she and her siblings to the joys of the mountains.  Marianne enjoys hiking on local trails with her dog Bella and exploring local history.\nCome at 6:30 for social hour and snacks. Stay for pictures\, trip reports and an interesting discussion/presentation.

SUMMARY:MOAC General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Carlie Casey of Bethel to Present on Nearly 1\,000 Miles of Nordic Skiing in Norway\nIn mid-February 2023\, Carlie Casey and Ann Speth of Bethel\, Maine flew to Norway with the intention of cross-country skiing as far north as possible before the melting snow would put an end to their skiing adventure. Skiing the entire length of Norway had been a dream of Carlie’s after several weeks-long trips in prior years. As it turns out\, starting in the south and skiing in one continuous path northward\, using marked routes connecting Norway’s backcountry huts\, was not as straightforward as maps and websites suggested. \nJoin Carlie as he shares breathtaking slides of the “birthplace” of Nordic skiing\, describes problem-solving on such a trip\, and opens his pack to reveal what they both learned about the gear best suited to hut-to-hut skiing. Carlie will share his experience with the different qualities of Nordic skis and gear. \nCarlie is a credentialed Technical Director (TD) by the Federation of International Skiing (FIS) and the US Ski and Snowboard Association (USSSA). He was a long-time West Coast TD before moving back East to join his late wife\, near their hometown. As a FIS TD he has been around the world working ski races and helps the local Chisholm Ski Club at Black Mountain of Maine\, he is also a key cog in the Bethel Trails program. You can find him in the X-C Ski stadium helping with set and design or on the trail making sure the rules are followed in multiple international races held in the U.S. \nNot only an avid Nordic skier\, Carlie has accomplished both long-distance biking and hiking goals\, including the Appalachian Trail more than once. \n\nIn addition to the presentations\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. Here’s a Google Map link.

SUMMARY:MOAC General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Bob Crowley\, a past winner of the reality television series Survivor and co-owner of Maine Forest Yurts\, will give the featured presentation at the January general meeting.A stellar storyteller and lifelong adventurer\, Bob is a retired Gorham high school physics teacher who has also been a forester\, a lobsterman\, a first mate on a research boat for the Smithsonian Institution in Canada and an entomologist for the USDA.Bob has spent summers on a remote Casco Bay island where in the 1970s he built an eco-friendly summer cabin using recycled material and requiring a fraction of the energy of the average U.S. home. Other structures he has built from recycled material include wharfs\, saunas and a chicken coop.In 2008\, Bob joined the cast of Survivor: Gabon; 39 days later\, at the age of 57\, he was voted the oldest winner in the show’s history. He also won the “Sprint Survivor of the Season\,” in which fans voted for their favorite player. \nThe following year\, Bob retired from 25 years of teaching\, and with his wife Peggy and their adult children moved to Durham. Here the family opened Maine Forest Yurts on Runaround Pond in Durham\, where they offer an eco-friendly camping experience with four yurts on a 100-acre site. \nThe family also runs the nonprofit Durham Warriors Project\, which allows disabled veterans and other nonprofits to stay for free at Maine Forest Yurts. \nPage\, Bob’s daughter and business partner\, may join him at the meeting. She said he’ll likely discuss his love for the outdoors\, his work with Maine Forest Yurts and his experience on Survivor\, yet noted “every talk he does is different” and he “enjoys sharing all the adventures of his life.” \nBob gets rave reviews from MOAC Board Member Diane Hessemann\, who has enjoyed his stories around the fire during her stays at Maine Forest Yurts. \n\nIn addition to the featured presentations\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. Here’s a Google Map link.

SUMMARY:MOAC General Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Adventuring in New Zealand\nPat Johnson Will Recount Escapades in Kiwiland\nNew Zealand lives up to the hype. The land is more magical than its movie sets: Volcanoes smolder\, fjords are pinch-yourself pretty and at beaches hot water pools bubble up from under the surf. Sublime forests\, mountains\, lakes\, fjords and beaches have made New Zealand one of the world’s best hiking destinations. \nI’ll never forget my five-week trip there in Jan/Feb 2020. We kayaked Abel Tasman NP and backpacked one of the “Great Walks\,” the four-day Routeburn Trek; immersed ourselves in Maori culture in Rotorua; hiked Mt. Cook; saw glowworms in a cave; mountain-biked in Queenstown; and hiked across the Tongariro\, a fiery landscape of craters and boiling mud. \nYet it’s not just the landscape that reels you in – it’s also the people. Tolerant\, hospitable and eco-conscious\, New Zealand is a sanctuary in a turbulent world. \nCome join us for a photo tour of this marvelous place during the monthly MOAC membership meeting on Nov. 1! \nPat Johnson has been an active MOAC member since 2002 as a regular trip leader\, former board member and past president. An avid hiker\, xc skier\, bicyclist\, sea kayaker and traveler\, she recently returned from a two-week trip hiking in the Italian Dolomites. \n\nIn addition to the featured presentations\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. Here’s a Google Map link.

SUMMARY:MOAC Monthly Meeting – Africa
DESCRIPTION:We’ll be presenting the travelogue “Wild Africa”\, by Bill Yeo\, from L.L. Bean.  This is a half-hour film we showed two years ago\, when all of our meetings were only on Zoom.  We thought it was worth watching again.  According to the film’s description\, it takes “an up-close look at some of Africa’s most amazing animals\, including the first steps of a new-born Wildebeest\, tree climbing lions and the hilarious and remarkable courting dance of the saddle-billed stork”.\n\nAlso\, MOAC President Marty Williams became the cook on the recent Allagash canoe trip. SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting – Preserving Vacationland
DESCRIPTION:Preserving Vacationland \nThe history of the conservation of Maine’s parks and preserves \nThe top outdoor draw in Maine is Acadia National Park. The top-most point in Maine is in Baxter State Park.  \nMaine’s 281-mile stretch of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is the second longest along its 2\,170 miles — and the most challenging. The Allagash Wilderness Waterway and Maine Island Trail are internationally known signature Maine experiences. \nMaine’s many outdoor experiences include kayaking through the Scarborough Marsh\, strolling through numerous nature preserves\, hiking through Wolfe Neck Woods State Park and canoeing the Saco River. \nAll of the above-mentioned activities and places have long been enjoyed by MOAC members.  \nTheir common denominator is that they take place on lands and waters that have been preserved for aesthetic and recreational values by many different programs and campaigns: federal\, state and local plus many private initiatives and collaborative efforts. \nThe story behind the conservation of these iconic natural and historic properties is the subject of Preserving Vacationland\, a fascinating PowerPoint show that details the preservation of many of Maine’s wild and scenic wonders\, beginning with the aspirations of Henry David Thoreau in 1853 and continuing to the creation of Katahdin Woods and Waters and other present-day happenings. \nIt has been presented at several historical societies\, conservation organizations and the University of Southern Maine. \nAbout the presenter: Scott Andrews earned a B.A. in history from the University of Chicago\, an M.B.A. from the Chicago Booth School of Business and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics. A longtime MOAC member and trip leader\, Scott has visited virtually every park and property to be depicted and described. A longtime lifestyle journalist\, Andrews has written about two thousand articles on outdoor recreation and tourism for local and national publications. His first book\, A Century on Skis\, won the Skade Award of the International Skiing History Association. Preserving Vacationland will be his second book. \n\nIn addition to the speaker\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. Here’s a Google Map link. \n\nZoom starts at7:00. SUMMARY:Monthly Meeting – Machu Picchu
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a tour of the Sacred Valley of Peru (Urubamba)\, where the Incas built temples to the sun and other deities. \nMachu Picchu is the most famous of the archaeological sites\, built by the Inca but there are many more. The stonework was tightly fitted together\, using no visible mortar. \nWe will visit many important sites to the Inca culture\, culminating with Machu Picchu. We will touch on modern day Peru as well\, with its rich cultural history of blended indigenous\, Spanish\, and religious customs. \n  \n\nMarty Williams lives in Ellsworth and currently is club president. If you live in Northern Maine\, the Bangor area\, or Downeast\, look for her outdoor adventures throughout the year in that part of the state. She can be reached at president@moac.org or bangor_area@moac.org. \nA member for more than 15 years\, this trip to Peru in 2016 was a MOAC trip. Just an example of where this club can take you. \n___________________________________________\nIn addition to the speaker\, the meeting is a chance to hear about recent outings\, hear about upcoming outings\, and socialize with other MOACers. Here’s a Google Map link. \nZOOM!! \nMOAC Event is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. \nTopic: Feb 1 General Meeting\nTime: Feb 1\, 2023 06:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) \nJoin Zoom Meeting\nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/87675915489?pwd=UzdmcmJGN3dvd2dlUTlhTlVhTm5vQT09 \nMeeting ID: 876 7591 5489\nPasscode: 499491\nOne tap mobile\n+13126266799\,\,87675915489#\,\,\,\,*499491# US (Chicago)\n+16468769923\,\,87675915489#\,\,\,\,*499491# US (New York) \n  \n

SUMMARY:Casting Call for a Commercial
DESCRIPTION:Do you want to be in an advertisement?  The board received this request from AHC Casting.  They are going to do an advertisement for T Mobile.  So\, if you’re a T Mobile customer and live in the Augusta area\, read on.  In particular\, they would like to find a family who is active\, outdoorsy\, likes winter activities\, etc\, and ….who uses T Mobile. \nI’m reaching out with an unusual inquiry. My office is casting a T Mobile commercial that is going to be shooting in Augusta\, ME in late February. We are seeking LOCAL families (who currently live in/near Augusta or the surrounding cities – Vassalboro\, Benton\, Oakland\, China\, Norridgewock\, Waterville) who are also real T Mobile customers who might want to be considered for the project. It’s going to be a fun\, one-day shoot for $1200/ person. If production decides to film talent in their home they’ll earn an additional $300.  \nWe would like to find a family who is active\, outdoorsy\, likes winter activities\, etc\, and ….who uses T Mobile. \nWe are holding zoom interviews on Monday and Tuesday (January 30 & 31) and anyone who wants to be considered can email at this address directly. lindsay@alysonhorncasting.com  \nI am available to speak more about this project if you have questions and please feel free to check out our Instag. ram page as it has a lot of our current work: https://www.instagram.com/ahccasting.  The website is: https://www.ahccasting.com/.
