Let's hit the beautiful ski trails at Five Fields Farm in Bridgton. There are trails for every level of skier (both classic and skate), so if we have different abilities within the group we may split up. Ski the Caribou Bog trail with the full moon. The bog trails are wide and groomed with some gentle slopes. Meet at the Taylor Road parking area off Forest Avenue, Orono. Cross country ski and/or snowshoe at Roberts Farm Preserve, 58 Roberts Road, Norway ME. We will meet at noon but come any time. There is a warming hut with a wood stove. They lend skis to people using the trails. We may stop at Oxbow for a beer on the way home. |
