It should be a great evening for a walk on the Eastern Prom. Park on the Prom or the access street to the East End Beach and meet by the restrooms at 5:30. We will walk the Prom as well as the East End Beach Trail. Distance is approximately 3 1/2 to 4 miles.
We meet at 6:00 pm in the Scarborough parking lot in Pinpoint and will walk the beach towards Old Orchard Beach. We may go for refreshments afterwards.

Frenchman Bay Conservancy has some nice hikes away from the congestion of Acadia NP. These two hikes are moderate hikes through woods and granite. Hike Mt Agamenticus I plan on hiking all 3 peaks. The last time I did this it was 8.5 miles and 3.5 hours. I may have taken an extra long route. This could be quite a bit shorter possibly, if you you do a shorter loop. Meet at trailhead 9am
Donnell Pond and the surrounding area was one of the first purchases of the Land for Maine's Future Fund. Most of the lake is preserved with several small pocket beaches.
